The University Impact Forum on “Prioritizing climate action on the global higher education agenda”, a significant global event, was held on September 11-12 in Azerbaijan. Assoc. Prof. Irada Khalilova, rector represented Khazar University at the forum.
The Forum, held in anticipation of COP29, centered on SDG 13 for climate action and emphasized the crucial role universities must play in addressing the needs of future generations by integrating climate action as a core institutional priority.
During the panel discussion on “What is the role of interdisciplinary research in building climate resilience?” Khazar University and Exeter University in the UK collaboration as a good example was mentioned by Nargiz Hajiyeva, Country director (Azerbaijan) British Council.
