Staff members of Khazar University – Head of the International Relations Office Fatima Valiyeva, Lecturer at the Department of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering Tahir Javadzade, Lecturer at the Department of Computer Science Humay Huseynova, and Lecturer at the Department of Education Farida Orucova – participated in an online communication skills training titled “Researcher Connect,” organized by the British Council for young researchers, from July 29 to August 8, 2024.

The two-week training sessions covered both theory and practice and were led by experienced international trainers in the field of higher education. Upon completion of the training, which was attended by 30 young researchers, participants were awarded certificates. On August 27, 2024, the certificates were presented by Fergus Auld, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to Azerbaijan, and Nargiz Hajiyeva, the director of the British Council in Azerbaijan, during a ceremony at the embassy’s residence.
