On August 22, 2024, the founder of Khazar University and Chairman of the Board of Directors and Trustees, Prof. Acad. Hamlet Isakhanli, along with Director of Public Relations and Media Alovsat Amirbayli, University Manager Shahin Isayev, and lecturer of the School of Economics and Management Hasan Rahimli, visited the Lankaran Regional Scientific Center (LRSC) of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS). 

The center’s director, Mehman Aliyev, welcomed the guests and provided information about the work carried out in recent months, including scientific seminars, conferences, and various events. The prospects for future cooperation between Khazar University and the Lankaran RSC were discussed. Prof. Acad. Hamlet Isakhanli toured the library established in honor of the 100th anniversary of National Leader Heydar Aliyev and visited the memorial corner dedicated to Mahsun Bagirzadeh, an employee of the Lankaran RSC and the first martyr of ANAS during the 44-day Patriotic War.
