Head of Political Sciences and Philosophy Department at the International Summer School

On July 29 -August 7, 2024, Assoc. Prof. Orkhan Valiyev, the head of the Department of Political Sciences and Philosophy, attended the International Summer School on “A New Era for the Turkic World” organized by Haydar Aliyev Center for Eurasian Studies at Ibn Khaldun University in Istanbul. The Summer School was sponsored and supported by SOCAR Türkiye and the Organization of Turkic States.

The Summer School brought lecturers and 60 participants from twenty countries specialized in the Turkic World, Eurasia from Cihine to the US and the member states of the OTS. The school focused and proritized an academic and practical understanding Turkic World from the perspective of various academic disciplines includuing political science, history, economics and so on.

Assoc. Prof. Valiyev was invited as a lecturer to the summer school and gave a lecture titled “The Role of Turkic World in the Post-conflict Azerbaijan” and participated on behalf of Khazar University.
