Turan News Agency: Khazar University Plays Key Role in Strengthening Educational Ties Between China and Azerbaijan

On July 25, 2024, Turan Information Agency released a comprehensive analytical article titled “The Belt and Road Initiative in China-Azerbaijan Relations.” The author, China expert Agil Aliyev, who also explored the cultural relations between the two countries, notes that these relations primarily focus on the field of education. He highlights the activities of the China Cultural Center or Confucius Institute at four universities in Azerbaijan: Baku State University, Khazar University, Azerbaijan University of Languages, and Azerbaijan University.

The author emphasizes the significance of Chinese students studying at these universities and other higher education institutions in the country, as well as Azerbaijani students pursuing their education in China. It should be noted that Khazar University has established extensive business relations with several Chinese universities through bilateral agreements. Azerbaijani language courses are being offered online in China, and other initiatives are being implemented. The leadership of Khazar University has visited China multiple times, and practical activities have been initiated and are ongoing in various areas of cooperation.
