On July 10, 2024, the QS rating agency released its list of the top universities in Europe.

According to the "QS World University Rankings: Europe 2025" publication, Khazar University climbed 12 spots to rank 360th. Additionally, it was placed 16th among universities in West Asia.

Furthermore, Khazar University advanced 53 places in article citation rankings, securing its position among the top 685 universities in Europe, where it now ranks 17th.

This prestigious ranking features 685 higher education institutions from 42 countries within the Council of Europe, including 9 universities from Azerbaijan.

The ranking evaluates global education recognition, research outcomes, teaching resources, internationalization, graduate employability, and other factors.
