On June 7, a scientific seminar was held at the Institute of Linguistics named after Nasimi of ANAS.
Yuxuan Tang, a Chinese graduate student from Khazar University, deıivered a speech titled "Azerbaijani Case Category and Its Means of Expression in Chinese."
Yuxuan Tang, who speaks Azerbaijani fluently, explained that Chinese, being an isolating language, does not have grammatical categories or cases, but it does have means of expressing case. He noted that nominative words in Azerbaijani are used in Chinese without any addition. Throughout the speech, he discussed the similarities and differences between the Chinese and Azerbaijani languages.
At the end of the seminar, professors Ilham Tahirov and Sayali Sadygova, along with associate professors Shabnam Hasanli Garibova and Reyhan Madatova, commented on Yuxuan Tang's speech and highlighted the significance of his research.
