Between June 3 and June 7, 2024, Kamala Mustafayeva, a faculty member from the Department of History and Archeology, visited Gazi University in Tkiye as part of the Erasmus+ program. During this visit, she met with Prof. Mustafa Safran, Prof.Necdet Hayta, Assoc. Prof. Tugba Belenli, and Assoc. Prof. Ayshegül Nihan Erol Şahin from the History Department of the Faculty of Education at Gazi University. Kamala Mustafayeva provided her Turkish counterparts with detailed information about the activities and specific programs of Khazar University's History and Archeology Department. During her visit, she, along with doctoral student Tugba Ortac, toured various campuses and departments of Gazi University, Ankara Castle, the Museum of Anatolian Civilizations, the Rahmi M. Koch Museum, and the old bath square of Ankara.
On June 6, led by Prof. Guray Kırpık, a visit to the Turkish History Museum and Park was arranged for first and second-year students specializing in history teaching. At the museum, Kamala Mustafayeva delivered a speech on "Türkiye-Azerbaijani relations from the People's Republic of Azerbaijan to the present day" and addressed students' questions on the topic.
At the end, a certificate was presented to Khazar University for the academic visit.
