On May 27, 2024, the Azerbaijan Academy of Labour and Social Relations hosted the Republican scientific-practical conference for bachelor's and master's students on the topic "State Support for Small and Medium Business in Azerbaijan: Development Trends," dedicated to the 101st anniversary of national leader Heydar Aliyev. The conference featured scientific presentations from 70 students representing eight higher education institutions across the country. Five "History Education" students from the School of Humanities, Education and Social Sciences, under the scientific guidance of Dr. Yagub Mammadov, a lecturer in the Department of History and Archeology, participated in the conference. Third-year students Minura Javadova, Narmin Hasanova, Khani Amirli, and second-year students Konul Ibrahimli and Leyla Aliguliyeva delivered successful presentations on the following topics: "Gulistan Treaty," "Genocide Policy of Armenians Against the People of Azerbaijan," "Khojaly Genocide," "Great Personality - Ziya Bunyadov," and "Prominent Historian - Sara Ashurbeyli," respectively. The students were awarded certificates for their engaging scientific reports.
