On May 21-22, 2024, Dr. Orkhan Valiyev, the head of the Department of Political Sciences and Philosophy, attended the "International Eurasian Conference 2024" hosted by Haydar Aliyev Center for Eurasian Studies at Ibn Khaldun University in Istanbul.

The conference began with an opening speech by the center's director, Prof. Yashar Sarin, followed by remarks from other guests. Over two days, presentations were delivered by scientists and young researchers from Hungary, Poland, Azerbaijan, Central Asia, and China.

On May 22, 2024, the conference concluded with a closing speech by Ibn Khaldun University's rector, Prof. Atilla Arkan, and certificates were awarded to participants. The reports presented are set to be published by the publishing house of Ibn Khaldun University which holds international status.

Dr. Orkhan Valiyev delivered a speech at the conference titled "Reviewing National Policy and Rewriting History in Post-Conflict Azerbaijan."
