On May 19, 2024, the first-year students of Khazar University's School of Humanities, Education, and Social Sciences, majoring in History Education, visited the Gobustan State Historical and Artistic Reserve and the National Azerbaijan History Museum. This trip was organized by Dr. Yagub Mammadov, a lecturer of the Department of History and Archeology.
During the excursion, Yagub Mammadov provided the students with detailed information about the archaeological research in Gobustan and the artifacts housed in the museum. Additionally, discussions with the students covered the hundreds of pictographic patterns on the rocks, their drawing techniques, and their significance in the world.
The students were deeply impressed by the newly opened exhibit at the National History Museum of Azerbaijan. It is noteworthy that such museum visits are organized regularly to enhance the theoretical knowledge students acquire in their studies.
