On May 15, 2024, the head of the Department of Political Science and Philosophy Dr. Orkhan Valiyev conducted a seminar at Baku Slavic University. This seminar was part of the "School of National Identity" project, scheduled to take place between May 22 and 30, organized by the Ministry of Science and Education and the "One" student-voluntary organization. At the end of the seminar, the head of the department organized an interactive game with the students on fostering national consciousness.

The purpose of the project is to strengthen national identity awareness among young people, steer them away from radical tendencies, and promote the idea that national identity encompasses a range of diversities.

At the end of the project, distinguished students will be taken on an excursion to Shusha.
