On April 23, 2024, a macroeconomic seminar was held by Professor Hakan Chifchi of Chukurova University at Khazar University, jointly organized by the Department of International Relations and the Department of Economics and Management.

Professor Chifchi started the seminar with information about the history of world macroeconomics. He talked about a government's monetary policy, as well as fiscal policy related to taxes and government spending, which can affect inflation and unemployment rates in countries. The professor shared with the students the relationship between income, expenses, debt and investment. In the meeting, the students participated interactively and answered the questions asked by the professor.
