On December 20, 2023, a scientific-practical meeting was organized at the Institute of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan on the topic "Enhancing the Curriculum of “Azerbaijani Language” Subject" (2023). Experts from Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, Baku State University, Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University, Sumgait State University, Khazar University, State Examination Center were invited to the meeting.

Mansur Maharramov, the head of the Department of Educational Standards and Programs, inaugurated the meeting with an opening address, shedding light on the meeting's objectives. Professor Rafig Ismayolav delved into comprehensive insights about the direction of improving the curriculum for the "Azerbaijani language." Following the presentation, experts from diverse educational institutions were provided with opportunities to share their insights, leading to in-depth discussions. Ph.D. scholars in Philology, Ilkin Agerov and Almaz Badalova from Khazar University, emphasized the significance of the subject, highlighting its importance in advancing the instruction of the "Azerbaijani language" in secondary schools. They also brought forth their suggestions, comments, and recommendations regarding the topic.

As the session concluded, organizers encouraged participants to submit their opinions in written form, ensuring a thorough documentation of the valuable insights shared during the meeting.
