On December 1, 2023, Khazar University organized an event with simultaneous translator Ramal Khosrovzade, engaging students and faculty from the Department of English Language and Literature. The initiative, led by Elvin Abbasbeyli, coordinator of the newly established " Translation and Interpreting Center" and supported by Milana Abbasova, head of the English Language and Literature Department.

Elvin Abbasbeyli, introducing the event, shared insights on the establishment of the " Translation and Interpreting Center," outlined its future plans, discussed the simultaneous interpretation profession, shared personal experiences, and addressed numerous student inquiries.

Closing the meeting, Milana Abbasova emphasized the importance of such events for students.
