On November 23, 2023, an open class was held for first-year students of primary school teaching (in English) on the topic "Truth and Metaphor (Conversations of Lore)" within the "Integrative Lesson" project of the Department of Languages and Literatures at Khazar University.

The faculty members of the department, Gardashkhan Azizkhanli and Rustam Lazimov, explored how the Lore, referring to our world as "the world of means," guides individuals from a quantitative to a qualitative level using both concrete and figurative expressions. They discussed the pursuit of truth by navigating between the realms of reason and love, often described as the "immediate world."

In response to the question "What is lore?" R. Lazimov invoked the words of gnostic scholars, stating, "Lore is two steps: you take one step on the soul, and on the other step you have already found the Truth." The session concluded with an interactive question-and-answer segment involving students and instructors.
