On October 31, 2023, the Azerbaijan Publishers Association conducted an information session on the II Autumn Reading Marathon at Khazar University. The students were engaged and captivated by the interesting information shared by the association representatives during the session.

It was revealed that students expressing interest in joining the Reading Marathon organized by the Education Development Fund of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan have an opportunity to compete for a cash prize among the top 10 finalists. To qualify, participants need to read 8 books within the three-month period from October 1, 2023, to January 1, 2024, and successfully complete an exam and interview. The primary objective is to foster a greater appreciation for books among the students.

Following the session, the renowned writer Rovshan Abdullaoglu delivered a speech, offering participants in-depth insights into his book "Koramal." He also engaged with their questions. Subsequently, actor Ahliman Arshadli and theater critic Afag Aghayeva performed captivating excerpts from the book for the students. The session concluded with the presentation of short video clips created based on the content of the book.
