On October 12, 2023, Dr. Milana Abbasova the head of the English Language and Literature Department delivered her presentation on “Language Change and Advanced Technology: The changes that soft media has imposed on language” as a guest lecture at the Guest Lecturer Series 2023.

Guest Lecturer Series (GLS) – is designed to share the expertise knowledge in the academic field, provoke new thoughts and stimulate engaging conversations in selected papers. The lecture series are organized by Samarkand Linguistics and Literary Circle in cooperation with the Silk Road Research Academy (Uzbekistan), Jizzakh State Pedagogical University (Uzbekistan) and Khazar University (Azerbaijan).
