Orientation day for new international students

On September 28, 2023, Khazar University's International Relations Office held an orientation day for newly admitted international students. During the session, newly arrived students acquired information about regulations and procedures, academic calendar, as well as tips for living in Azerbaijan.

At the beginning of the event, the rector of the university, Assoc.Prof. Irada Khalilova, and the vice-rector for International Relations, Vlad Vernygora, delivered their greetings to the students and wished them success in university life. Bahar Imanova, the representative of the School of Economics and Management, Javad Mehri Tekmeh, the representative of the School of Science and Engineering, coordinator of the Department of Computer Sciences, Tarlan Orujova, the representative of the School of Humanities, Education and Social Sciences, gave information about the educational process to international students.

An entertaining game was organized, allowing students to get to know each other.

The coordinator of the International Relations Office Arzu Badalova delivered a presentation about Khazar University. The coordinator of the office Turan Alizadeh informed the students about migration issues.

International students already studying at the university also shared their experience and knowledge about Azerbaijan with new students. In addition, short video messages of studentswho did not participate in the event were presented. At the end, the students who participated in the event were given gifts on behalf of Khazar University.
