On June 22, 2023, the Embassy of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland in Azerbaijan held an event on the occasion of the birthday of the King of Great Britain and Northern Ireland Charles III - a national day at the Hyatt Regency hotel in Baku. Ambassador Fergus Auld spoke in Azerbaijani at the event with the participation of representatives of the government of Azerbaijan, Milli Majlis, diplomatic corps, socio-political organizations and media representatives, and other speakers delivered a congratulatory speech.
