On January 24, 2023, Mustafa Kendirli Kirshehir, deputy of the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye, head of the Inter-Parliamentary Friendship Group, met with the delegation of Khazar University in the conference hall of the Grand Terme hotel.

At the meeting, the head of Kirshehir Provincial Directorate of Youth Services and Sports of the Republic of Türkiye, Numan Nafiz Shahin, gave detailed information to the MP about the " Türkiye -Azerbaijan Youth Exchange" program. He emphasized that a month ago, within the framework of this program, they were guests of Khazar University in Baku, and the students of Kirshehir University left the fraternal country with a great impression. He expressed his great pride in hosting the Khazar University delegation in Kirshehir.

Alovsat Amirbeyli, the head of the Khazar University delegation, first conveyed the greetings of the founder of Khazar University, the chairman of the Board of Directors and Trustees, professor Hamlet Isakhanli, and the rector of the university, associate professor Irade Khalilova, to the MP. He gave detailed information to the MP about Khazar University.

Member of Parliament Mustafa Kendirli personally met the students of Khazar University. He asked them about the program and their impressions of Türkiye. Then he informed the guests about the fraternal and brotherly relations between Azerbaijan and Türkiye, about the heroism of the Caucasian Islamic Army in Azerbaijan 105 years ago. He commemorated 34 people from Kirshehir who were martyred while liberating Baku from occupation. He stressed that the two fraternal countries signed great historical annals. After that, he emphasized that Türkiye will always be with Azerbaijan. Deputy M. Kendirli presented to A. Amirbeyli the portrait of the famous saz master and performer of Türkiye, Neshet Ertash from Kirshehir.

Alovsat Amirbeyli, the head of Khazar University's delegation, thanked the MP for the reception, presented him with the university's Shusha plaque and the gift of Azerchay, the National Brand of Azerbaijan. At the end, memory photos were taken with the MP.
