Book Signing Event for Prof. Acad. Hamlet Isakhanli's Works

On December 11, 2025, a book signing event for the works of Prof. Acad. Hamlet Isakhanli, founder of Khazar University, Chairman of the Board of Directors and Trustees, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, poet, writer, publicist, translator, and internationally recognized as a polymath, was held at the "Ali and Nino" Bookstore in the "Crescent Mall" Shopping Center. The event was organized by Khazar University's Library-Information Center (LIC) and the "Dunya" School Library. University leadership and staff, members of the National Assembly, renowned writers, and readers attended the event.

For the signing event, 25 books authored by H. Isakhanli to date were presented, including "Alchemy: Science, Art and Mysticism," "My Karabakh or the Karabakh Knot," "This Was Also a Life," "In Search of 'Khazar,'" "Quatrains," "Contradictions," "Feelings That Turned into Poetry" (in Persian), "Collection of Poems" (in Chinese), "Praise to Hazan" (in Türkiye Turkish), and others. Additionally, the exhibition displayed more than 60 books for which he served as co-author, article or chapter author, translator, or editor.

Before the event, the Chamber Orchestra of the university performed a concert program under the direction of Zulfiyya Sadigova, Director of the Music and Arts Department at Khazar University, Honored Teacher, and renowned pianist.

The event moderator, Dr. Madina Karahan, Director of the "Dunya School" Library, greeted the participants and gave the floor to speakers.

Doctor of Philological Sciences, Honored Scientist, Professor Gazanfar Pashayev, writer Seyran Sakhavat, members of the National Assembly Javanshir Feyziyev and Jeyhun Mammadov, poet Sayman Aruz, Head of the South Azerbaijan Department of the Azerbaijan Writers' Union, Advisor to the Chairman of the Azerbaijan Writers' Union, founder and Chairman of the South Azerbaijan Community, Doctor of Philological Sciences, Professor Badirkhan Ahmadov, Director of the Azerbaijan-Asian Literary Relations Department at the Institute of Literature named after Nizami Ganjavi of ANAS, Elza Samadova, Head of the Executive Committee of Sabah Groups at the State Agency for Science and Higher Education, and Firangiz Nasirova, Senior Lecturer at the English Language and Literature Department of Khazar University, delivered speeches.

In their speeches, Prof. Acad. Hamlet Isakhanli was characterized as a prominent mathematician and scientist, successful education organizer as the founder of the first private university in Azerbaijan and the "Dunya" school network, specialist in the history of science, culture and education, and author of numerous works on literature and linguistics, history and philosophy, with concrete references to various examples of his multifaceted activities and specific works.

Chinese students studying at Khazar University recited Hamlet Isakhanli's poem "You Were a Young Man You Loved" in Azerbaijani.

Subsequently, Prof. Acad. Hamlet Isakhanli was given the floor. He spoke about his creative experience and work methods. He expressed his deep gratitude to the organizers of the event, participants, and prominent intellectuals who spoke and highly appreciated his work.

At the end, Prof. Acad. Hamlet Isakhanli signed books for readers. The books displayed at the exhibition were presented as gifts to participants.
