On December 16, 2025, a meeting was held between a delegation from the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS) and Khazar University. The main objective of the meeting was to discuss potential academic partnership opportunities between the two institutions, including joint research projects, academic exchange programs, and possible grant collaboration.

The Chinese Academy of Social Sciences was represented at the meeting by Dr. Zhang Guanzi, Director and Chief Research Fellow of the National Academy of Chinese Modernization, Dr. Han Keqing, Director and Chief Research Fellow of the Department of Party Leadership and State Governance, Dr. Feng Xiying, Associate Research Fellow, and Assistant Research Fellows Dr. Zhang Shuwan, Dr. Zhang Wenjun, and Dr. Zhu Tao. A presentation on Khazar University's academic activities and international cooperation was delivered. Subsequently, Dr. Raziya Isayeva, Rector of Khazar University, and faculty heads held extensive exchanges of views with representatives from the Chinese side on areas of cooperation of mutual interest.

The meeting, which proceeded with cordial and constructive discussions, concluded with a commemorative photograph.
