On October 1, 2025, a cooperation protocol was signed between the two universities at Bursa Uludağ University by the university's rector Prof. Dr. Ferudun Yılmaz and the founder of Khazar University, Chairman of the Board of Directors and Trustees Prof. Acad. Hamlet Isakhanli.

The signing ceremony was attended by Dr. Hilal Kurum, member of the Hasvet Academy, Prof. Dr. Tamer Dodurka, advisor to the rector of Khazar University, and Çiçək Aliyeva, acting dean of Khazar University's Hasvet School of Veterinary Medicine.

The protocol envisages student and faculty exchanges, implementation of joint research projects, and organization of scientific conferences and academic publications. In particular, the promotion of knowledge and experience exchange in veterinary medicine and other scientific fields is planned.

The delegation from Khazar University also visited the School of Veterinary Medicine at Bursa Uludağ University, where they met with the faculty's dean Prof. Dr. Bayram Şenlik and the faculty's teaching staff and held discussions. It was noted that the signed protocol will create new cooperation opportunities for both higher education institutions.
