On October 17, 2025, a presentation of Khazar University's Board of Directors and Trustees and the newly appointed rector was held in the Marble Hall of Khazar University. The event was attended by the university's leadership and staff, alumni, and guests. The founder of Khazar University and Chairman of the Board of Directors and Trustees, Prof. Acad. Hamlet Isakhanli, delivered an extensive speech discussing the university's history. He noted that Khazar University, the first English-language private higher education institution in Azerbaijan, has played an exceptional role in modernizing the country's education system under his leadership and through the dedicated work of the collective, and has gained great prestige over the years as a modern institution of higher learning and a scientific and cultural center. Khazar University has always been an advocate of innovation in education, democratic governance, and international thinking.

The members of Khazar University's Board of Directors and Trustees were announced, and certificates were presented to the attending members by Prof. Acad. Hamlet Isaxanli: Aygun Isayeva, Director of the World School Complex; Prof. Isakhan Isaxanli, Vice Rector for Administration and Student Affairs at Khazar University; Shahram Oromi, Vice President of NAB Holding; Zeynab Gurbuz Isayeva, member of the Khazar University and World School Board of Directors and Trustees, dermatologist at Medicana Atasehir Hospital (Turkey); Ayten Isayeva, member of the Khazar University and World School Board of Directors and Trustees, Financial Consultant; Ulkar Isayeva, postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Psychiatry, School of Medicine and Public Health, University of Cagliari (Italy); Dr. Raziya Isayeva, Rector of Khazar University.

This was followed by the presentation of the new rector. It was reported that Dr. Raziya Isayeva is a graduate of Khazar University, having completed her bachelor's degree in International Economic Relations and her MBA degree in Management. She obtained her Doctor of Philosophy degree in Education from the University of Lapland in Finland. She has worked for a long time as Director of Development at Khazar University and served as Dean of the School of Economics and Management. Dr. Raziya Isayeva has been teaching at the MBA and master's level at Khazar University since 2003.

Rector Dr. Raziya Isayeva delivered an extensive presentation covering the main areas of activity of Khazar University.

Khazar University alumni—Doctor of Philosophy in Theology and Member of the National Assembly Jeyhun Mammadov; Dean of the School of Law at ADA University and Doctor of Philosophy in Law Rashad Ibadov; as well as Elza Samedova, who served as dean at Khazar University for many years and currently serves as Head of the Higher Education Institutions Sector at the State Agency for Science and Higher Education and Head of the Executive Committee of SABAH Groups—spoke about Khazar University's outstanding contributions to the country's education system.

At the event, Khazar University's Chamber Orchestra performed a concert program.
