Dear Professor Hamlet Isakhanli,

I would like to express my deep gratitude to the Khazar University Chamber Orchestra for their excellent performance at the United Nations Day event on 27 October. An exceptional performance of the Azerbaijani national anthem and the three pieces of the national classical music have become a great addition to the celebration of the 30th anniversary of the UN-Azerbaijan partnership.

I received lots of positive feedback from all our guests about the performance of the Chamber Orchestra, including the Government officials, ambassadors, as well as representatives of the private sector, civil society and the media. You should be proud of your orchestra, combined of teachers and student performers, for their incredible talent, passion and dedication.

My special thanks go to Ms Zulfiya Sadigova, head of the Music and Art Department at Khazar University, for her partnership and support during the organisation of the UN Day event.
