During October 2022, practical classes called "Archaeological painting" were held in the museum-exhibition hall of the Institute of Archeology, Ethnography and Anthropology of ANAS for the first-year students of the School of Humanities, Education and Social Sciences of Khazar University majoring in History teaching. The lessons were organized by Orkhan Zamanov, an employee of the institute and at the same time, the lecturer of the History and Archeology Department of Khazar University, together with members of the Union of Azerbaijan Artists - member of the European Academy of Natural Sciences Iskander Mammadov (graphics) and Maryam Mammadova (art ceramics).
The students were taught the knowledge and skills that may be necessary in their future professional activities, they were instilled with direct acquaintance with historical ceramics and the rules of handling them. As mentioned, the lessons were held in the Museum-Exhibition hall with the support of Dr.Farhad Guliyev, the head of the Scientific Fund and Exposition Department of the ANAS Institute of Archaeology, Ethnography and Anthropology, and the final lessons were held in the Downtown campus of Khazar University with the support of Kamala Askerova, the coordinator of that campus. The tasks given to the students and the results of the lessons were positively evaluated by the teaching artists, and the practical lesson was justified.
Also, conducting such a visual lesson in the museum-exhibition hall in Icherisheher, which is the historical place of Baku, among the archaeological exhibits and artefacts, directly coming into contact with the historical material and cultural heritage was an important experience for the young researchers and history teachers of the future.
