The Azerbaijan Diaspora Support Fund organized a joint project on "Karabakh in Azerbaijani literature" on the occasion of the announcement of the "Year of Shusha" together with the International Language and Literature Association of the Republic of Korea. Within the framework of the project, Aynur Gazanfarghizi, the lecturer of the Department of Languages and Literatures of Khazar University, also published an article entitled "The influence of folklore on the creation of literature and philosophical thought - based on texts collected from Karabakh" in the 52nd edition of the International Journal of Language and Literature published in South Korea.

The article examines the influence of folklore texts collected from Karabakh on the works of Karabakh authors. It is noted that folklore texts are used in literature both as they are and modified. The article is important for Korean readers to recognize the works of Azerbaijani authors and the folklore environment of Karabakh.
