The internship program “Graduate Analyst” organized last month by the State Oil Fund of the Republic of Azerbaijan (SOFAZ) in cooperation with partner universities such as Azerbaijan State University of Economics, ADA University, Khazar University and Azerbaijan-French University as part of the work done to train young professionals and contribute to the formation of the country's human capital is over.

Within the framework of the internship program, participants gained practical knowledge and skills in the relevant fields by working with mentors in a real work environment in the Investment, Risk management, Oil contracts, Budget forecasting and projects, Accounts, Security, Human resources and Law departments of the Fund.

On August 4, 2022, the closing and awarding ceremony of the program was held in high spirits with the participation of representatives of the Fund's management team, heads of structural units and mentors.

Speaking at the closing ceremony, the mentors gave young interns their advice on their future careers. Sharing their impressions about the program, the participants talked about the worldview and new development opportunities that this unique experience gained at the Foundation gave them in their speeches.

Nargiz Nasrullayeva-Muduroglu, who awarded the trainees with a certificate, shared her personal experience with them and emphasized that only technical knowledge is not enough to succeed in the financial sector, skills such as emotional intelligence, communication, negotiation and leadership are also very important.
