On July 19, 2022, Khazar University held an online meeting with Abay University.

From Khazar University Vlad Vernygora, vice-rector for International Relations, Alovsat Amirbeyli, director of Public Relations and Media, and Fatima Valiyeva, coordinator of the International Relations office and from Abay University the head of the Pedagogical Improvement Center R.J.Turmagambetov, director of the Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology G.A.Abayeva, deputy editor and responsible secretary of the "Pedagogy and Psychology" scientific-methodical journal A.A.Mombek and S.T.Isaliyev attended the meeting. Representatives of Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University also participated in the meeting.

The meeting discussed the establishment of inter-university cooperation, joint professional development courses, summer schools for faculty members and students, and a number of other important issues.

Note that Abay University is one of the largest and leading universities in Kazakhstan.
