Javid Ojagi, associate professor of the Department of Life Sciences of Khazar University, and Veterinary Medicine Coordinator of the department Ayaz Mammadov, Ph.D. in Biology, Coordinator of the Graduate School of Science Art, and Technology for the master's degree, associate professor Mahammad Eldarov visited Sheki-Zagatala region on July 1-3, 2022.

The main purpose of the trip was to conduct a survey to find out the perceptions of animal welfare among farmers and consumers in the region. It is planned to continue the research in other regions.

Note that Khazar University participates in the Swedish project "Animal Welfare in the Baltic Sea Region".
