On June 3, 2022, a meeting was held with the staff of BartinUniversity and Artvin Coruh University.

The meeting was attended by Khazar University's founder, Chairman of the Board of Directors and Trustees, Professor Hamlet Isakhanli, Rector Associate Professor Irada Khalilova, Vice Rector for Academic Affairs Professor Mahammad Nuriyev, Vice Rector for International Relations Vlad Vernygora, Director of Public Relations and Media Alovsat Amirbeyli, Dean of the Graduate School of  Science, Arts and Technology Saida Sharifova, Dean of the School of Humanities, Education and Social Sciences Elza Samadova, Dean of the School of Science and Engineering Fakhranda Alimardanova, Dean of the School of Economics and Management Jeyhun Mammadov and International Relations Coordinators Arzu Badalova and Fatima Valiyeva, Rector of Bartin University Prof. Dr. Orhan Uzun, Vice-Rector Prof. Dr. Sedat Yazici, Dean of the Faculty of Education Prof. Dr. Fatma Unal, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Education Prof. Dr. Burcin Gokkurt Ozdemir, Coordinator of the Office for Students with Disabilities Nihal Ozdemir, Erasmus Coordinator Ahmet Yirmibes and from Artvin Coruh University Rector Prof.Dr. Mustafa Sitki Bilgin, Assistant Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Ersoy and Secretary General Dr.Muhammed Ardic.

An agreement on strengthening bilateral relations was signed at the meeting, and discussions were held to strengthen partnerships and academic ties between educational institutions. The document on cooperation envisages the expansion of inter-university relations, holding joint scientific events, establishing joint scientific publications, staff and student exchanges and a number of important issues.

Note that Bartin University is a state university established in 2008, and Artvin Coruh University is a private university established in 2007.

At the end of the signing ceremony, both parties presented gifts to each other.
