ğOn May 24, 2022, the next meeting of the Scientific Council of Khazar University was held.

The meeting was opened by the rector of the university, associate professor Irada Khalilova, who brought the issues on the agenda to the attention of the members of the scientific council. Dean of the Schoolof Economics and Management Jeyhun Mammadov, Dean of the School of  Science and Engineering Fakhranda Alimardanova, Deputy Dean of the School of Humanities, Education and Social Sciences Aygun Verdiyeva, Dean of the Gradute School of  Science, Arts and Technology Saida Sharifova and  Dean of the Gradute School of Economics and Business Ingilab Ahmadov provided information on the first issue on agenda. Detailed information about undergraduate and graduate students of the university, their grades, specialties et c. was heard and issues were discussed.

Then, the issues related to the topics of theses and dissertations of master's and doctoral students of the Graduate School of Economics and Business and the approval of their supervisors were brought to the attention of the members of the scientific council by the dean of the faculty, and discussions were held.

With the presentation of the Dean of the Graduate School of Science, Arts and Technology, the issue of changing the scientific supervisor of a foreign doctoral student of the faculty was considered.

Later, the minutes of the initial discussion of the dissertation of two doctoral students of the specialty "Organization and planning of education and Analysis and functional analysis" of the university were presented to the members of the council by the scientific secretary.

In connection with the improvement of the international ranking of scientific publications on current issues, the implementation of the Roadmap for 2022 was discussed and it was decided to reconsider the issue at a special meeting. Positive decisions were made on the issues on the agenda of the Scientific Council.
