On May 19, 2022, an agreement on strengthening bilateral relations was signed between Ataturk University and Khazar University in Turkey in the meeting room of the Board of Directors and Trustees. The event was attended by Khazar University Founder, Chairman of the Board of Directors and Trustees, Professor, Academician Hamlet Isakhanli, Rector Associate Professor Irada Khalilova, Director of Public Relations and Media Alovsat Amirbeyli, and International Relations Coordinators Arzu Badalova and Fatima Valiyeva, Director of Ataturk University's Institute of Health Sciences. Prof. Dr. Elif Çadırcı, Deputy Director Prof. Dr. Abdulmecit Albayrak, Director of the Center for Clinical Research, Development, Design Practice and Research. Prof. Dr. Zekai Halıcı and Member of the Faculty of Pharmacy Prof. Dr. Yasin Bayir.
It should be noted that the document on cooperation envisages the expansion of inter-university relations, joint scientific events, the establishment of joint scientific publications, staff and student exchanges and a number of important issues.
At the end of the signing ceremony, both parties presented gifts to each other.
