The next seminar, entitled "The Role of the Rectors' Conference in the Development of the Higher Education System," began on May 16-20 as part of the Erasmus+ ECAR "Establishment of Rectors' Conference in Azerbaijan" project to which Khazar University is a partner. The seminar, hosted by the Royal University of Technology, one of Sweden's most prestigious universities, is dedicated to the establishment of a conference of rectors and the study of European experience in the development of higher education.
The seminar is attended by a representative of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, 3 rectors from 15 Azerbaijani universities, 20 vice-rectors for various fields, including Vlad Vernygora, Khazar University's Vice-Rector for International Relations, and other officials.
In the next days of the seminar, which is coordinated by Baku Business University and funded by the European Commission, the seminar will feature a presentation by Monica Steinel, Deputy Secretary General of the European University Association, on "Universities without Borders - Vision 2030".
