On April 25, 2022, the final conference of “Assuming Responsibility for Climate Change” (arCc) project, organized by Middlesex University in partnership with Khazar University and funded by the British Council, was held.

The virtual conference was attended by more than 200 representatives, including project partners from 13 countries.

Raziya Isayeva, Head of the Development Center, Rovshan Abbasov, Head of the Geography and Environment Department, Shahnaz Amanova, Rovshan Karimov, teachers of the department from Khazar University and guest speaker Jeyhun Hajibeyli, Chief Adviser to the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport of the Republic of Azerbaijan, spoke on various topics related to climate change.

At the next panel of the conference, the voting of the competition held among students of partner universities within the project took place.

Note that Mirsaid Seyidov, a student at Khazar University's Dunya School, represented Azerbaijan in the final.
