On April 24, 2022, students majoring in Geography and Historical Geography at Khazar University visited the Absheron National Park, organized by the Department of Geography and Environment. In the national park, students went to Shah dili, the easternmost point of Azerbaijan and the most remote place on the Absheron Peninsula.

During the visit, they also met with the management of the Absheron National Park and visiting foreign researchers. During the meetings, the history of the Absheron National Park, information on the protected landscape, animal and plant species, environmental problems of the Absheron Peninsula and the Caspian Sea were discussed.
