On April 1, 2022, the Naila Khanum Museum was opened at Dunya School, in accordance with the decision of Khazar University administration to perpetuate the memory of Naila Isyeva, the prominent pedagogue and education organizer.
The event was attended by the administration and staff membersof Khazar University and Dunya School.
After the University Chamber Orchestra performed musical works by Naila Isayeva, Vice-Rector for Management and Student Affairs Isakhan Isakhanli opened the event and congratulated the participants on the establishment and opening of the museum. He said that the measures taken to perpetuate the memory of Naila khanum Isayeva are not limited to this and along with the museum, three publications - memoirs, song books and a photo album - have already been published, and others will be realized soon.
Marufa Madatli, Director for Academic Affairs of the Azerbaijani and Russian sectors at Dunya School, Chichek Garajayeva, Director of Sumgayit Dunya School, and Roza Arazova, the lecturer at Khazar University, spoke about Nailakhanum's innovative, purposeful, caring, and attentive personality as the founder of the World School.
One of the founders of the museum, the director of the University's Museum of Decorative and Applied Arts, carpet artist Afag Karimova gave information about the structure and design of the museum.
Then, the founder of Dunya School and Khazar University, Chairman of the Board of Directors and Trustees, Professor, Academician Hamlet Isakhanli, cut the ribbon with the participation of family members and inaugurated the museum.
Afag Karimova informed the participants about the photo stands, exhibits and personal belongings of Naila Isayeva, which fully reflect her life and activity, business and creative ties and itwas noted that the bust of Naila Isayeva in the museum was made by Khazar University lecturer and sculptor Kamran Asadov.
After visiting the museum, participants shared their impressions around the tea table. It was noted that the museum was designed with high professionalism and taste.
