Khazar University lecturer wins Korean Government Scholarship Program for Doctoral Studies

Gunay Karimova, who graduated from Khazar University’s Department of Geography and Environment in 2016, then got a master’s degree from Baku State University and currently is working as a teacher in the department, won the Korean Government Scholarship Program for Doctoral Studies.

Gunay Karimova, the winner of this competitive program, will study for the next 4 years as a PhD student at Korea University and receive her doctoral degree.

It should be noted that Korea University is ranked 50^th among top 100 universities worldwide and is one of the SKY Universities in South Korea.
