Next training programme within PETRA project organized at Ganja State University on 1-5 April 2019. Four representatives of Khazar University participated in a training programme. Raziya Isayeva, Director of Development, Aytaj Misgerli, Deputy Director of Library Information Center, Nilufer Alizada, Instructor of Psychology Department/PhD Student, and Abdul-Rahman Balogun Muhammed-Shittu, PhD student have participated in the meeting.
The training programme was devoted to the Research Competence development and Enhancement of IT in Teaching and Learning Process. During the first day of the programme partner universities from Azerbaijan presented the results of the project implementation at each university. The second day of the training University of Debrecen conducted a workshop of the best practices of Teaching and Learning Centers.
The third day of the programme was devoted to the management and coordination of the project. All responsible partners presented the implementation of the project. Major decisions on plans and activities were made by the end of the management meeting.
Representatives of University of Applied Sciences, BFI Vienna conducted a workshop on the fourth day of the meeting. Workshop on Open Access was delivered by Dr. Dietmar Paier and Johannes Wetzinger. The second half of the day lead by Raziya Isayeva, Khazar University and was devoted to the workshop on Teaching and Learning challenges at universities. The team of each participant university came up with the challenges of Teaching and Learning as well as the solution they can offer using the means of Teaching and Learning Centers established at each university within the project.
The fifth day of the meeting was devoted to MOODLE platform, how to use it to improve student learning. The workshop lead by Pieta Sikström, University of Jyvaskyla. She presented the idea of eLearning and conducted practical workshop on how to use Moodle platform. Later, during the workshop, Khazar University and Baku Slavic University presented their eLearning Platforms.
