On March 1, 2019, Khazar University's students, majoring in Regional Studies and International Relations visited the Museum of Archeology and Ethnography, at the initiative and arrangements of Orkhan Zamanov, teacher of “History of Wars” course.
Initially, the students were informed about the museum. Despite the fact that the museum has begun its activities recently, the results of the last 20 years of excavations in Azerbaijan are reflected. Other exhibits, excluding the Paleolithic period, are the result of recent research. The fact that Palaeolithic finds have more than 1 million years of age and that such finds were made not only from stone but also from natural materials as wood and bone make it impossible for those finds to reach present day. The exhibits in the museum are also protected by special medicines and other means. Students were given extensive information about exhibits. Students learned about tools used in a household activities and other tools used in everyday life, that were found during archeological excavations.
Orkhan Zamanov answered the questions of the students.
