On February 24, 2019, adalet.az və manevr.az portals posted news about the meeting of Umid Najjari, a young writer from Tabriz, at Khazar University. The news says that, participating in the lesson of "Creative Writing", the poet listened to small stories and essays by Sugra Aliyeva, Sadig Mirzaliyev, Narmin Alakbarov and Gunay Nuriyeva, and shared his opinion about the first experience of theirs, appreciating their skills to express their feelings and thoughts in a short and figurative way. Then the poet shared his own experience and recited his new poems.

Gardashkan Azizkhanli mentioning the presence of Umud, an Azeri student studying in Turkey, at the meeting, emphasized the symbolic meaning of the meeting pointing to "unity of hopes". At the end, Gardashkan Azizkhanli united the two crescent figures and presented it to the young writer as a symbol of united Azerbaijan.
