Article by Member of the English Language and Literature Department is Published

An article entitled “Structural-Syntactic Ambiguity and Supra-Segmental Means” by Ilham Taghiyev, a lecturer of English Language and Literature Department, was published in the 15th issue of the international scientific journal “Philology” in Russia. The author draws attention to the gap between oral human speech and written text and states that ambiguity in the analyzed cases can exist only in the written version of human speech due to the lack of supra-segmental means in the latter.
