On December 19, 2017, Khazar University  Philosophy department held preliminary defense of PhD candidate Mahammad Akbarov on “Theory of Law in Plato’s Philosophy”. The professor of the Baku State University Farman Ismayilov, associates from  the Institute of Philosophy of ANAS, Professor Alikram Tagiyev and Dr. Sholet Zeynalov, head of the Division of Graduate Studies and Research Dr. Eldar Shahgaldiyev, head of Psychology department Melek Kerimova, Vice-dean of the School of Humanities and Social Sciences Valide Kerimova participated in the defense. The candidate acquainted the participants with the results of the research focusing on the concept of justice and its essence in Plato’s theory of Law.
