On November 27 - December 1, 2017, Gunay Farzaliyeva, the coordinator of International Affairs Office, participated in the PAWER training week within Erasmus+ Programme at the University of Szeged Faculty of Agriculture in Szeged, Hungary.
Khazar University is one of the partner universities in the PAWER (Paving the Way to Interregional Mobility and Ensuring Relevance, Quality and Equity of Access) project coordinated by the University of L’Aquila (Italy). The project aims at promoting and supporting mobility between EU and partner countries by harmonizing the credit allocation and grading system.
The participants of the training week included academic and administrative staff members of partner universities from Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Russia, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan.
The aim of the training was to discuss important issues associated with mobility of students and staff, including Bologna process, qualifications framework, ECTS, mobility agreements, mobility support, recognition of credits, grade conversion process, mobility policy, and others. The training also aimed at preparing national trainers who will continue disseminating project information by delivering workshops and building capacity in their home countries.
