The next event within the framework of the International Education Week (November 13-17, 2017), organized by the International Affairs Office, was held on November 16, 2017, with the participation of representatives of Education USA and British Council Azerbaijan.

The main purpose of the session was to provide detailed information about full-time and exchange programs available to students in the USA and the UK, and to answer students’ questions.

The information session consisted of two parts. In the first part, Ramile Verdiyeva, Education USA Adviser, talked about the process of admission to universities in the USA, admission requirements, financial aid, and other important issues.

During the second part of the information session, Javid Guliyev, Exams Coordinator at British Council Azerbaijan, gave general information about education in the UK and spoke extensively about IELTS, the international English language testing system, which is conducted by the organization and it is the key requirement for admission to the UK universities. The representative gave some information about some other professional examinations held by the organization.

Promotional materials of both organizations were distributed at the end. The event ended with a Q&A session.
