On October 11, 2017, delegation of Khazar University and Dunya School met with representatives of Paris 1 Pantheon-Sorbonne University and discussed collaboration between the two universities.
Participants from Paris 1 Pantheon-Sorbonne University included Professor Maria Gravari Barbas (Vice-President in charge of International Relations), Dr. Annie Soriot (Director of International Relations), Anais Pamboukjian (Head of International Cooperation Office), Dr. Florent Pratlong (Senior Lecturer in Management), and Dr. Aurelie Condevaux (Senior Lecturer EIREST, Interdisciplinary Research Team on Tourism).
Dr. Annie Soriot, Director of International Relations Paris 1 Pantheon-Sorbonne delivered a short presentation about the university. Professor Maria Gravari Barbas, Vice-President in charge of International Relations, outlined several areas for potential collaboration, including economics, management, and tourism.
Professor Hamlet Isakhanli spoke about Khazar University, its development strategy and priorities for international collaboration. He expressed a strong interest in collaborating with Paris 1 Pantheon-Sorbonne University. Turan Jafarova, Director of International Affairs Office, conducted a presentation about Khazar University. The meeting ended with exchange of gifts and promotional materials of universities.
The delegation headed by the Founder of Khazar and the Chairman of its Board of Directors and Trustees included administrative staff members of Khazar University (Rector Dr. Hassan Niknafs, Vice-Rector for Research Dr. Irada Khalilova, Development Director Ms. Raziya Isayeva, Psychology Department Coordinator Ms. Ulkar Isayeva, Director of International Affairs Office Ms. Turan Jafarova) and its affiliate Dunya School (co-founder of Dunya School Ms. Naila Isayeva, Principal of Dunya School Ms. Marufa Madatli, IB Program Coordinator Ms. Rena Hasanova).
