On October 12, 2017, the delegation of Khazar University headed by Prof. Hamlet Isakhanli had a meeting with Mr. Anar Karimov, the Ambassador and Permanent Delegate of Azerbaijan to UNESCO. The meeting took place at UNESCO Headquarters in Paris, France.

Prof. Hamlet Isakhanli spoke about Khazar University, its high achievements in world university rankings and its projects. The Ambassador was impressed by Khazar University’s successes and wished good luck. They also discussed future cooperation between Khazar University and UNESCO in the field of science and education in particular.

On the same day, the delegation of Khazar University also visited the Victor Hugo School and met with Mr. France Ponsart, the head of school. The representatives of both Victor Hugo school and Dunya school gave presentations about their schools and cooperation opportunities have been discussed between two parties.

The members of delegation include administrative staff members of Khazar University (Rector Dr. Hassan Niknafs, Vice-Rector for Research Dr. Irada Khalilova, Development Center Director Ms. Raziya Isayeva, Psychology Department Coordinator Ms. Ulkar Isayeva, Director of International Affairs Office Ms. Turan Jafarova) and its affiliate Dunya School (co-founder of Dunya School Ms. Naila Isayeva, Principal of Dunya School Ms. Marufa Madatli, IB Program Coordinator Ms. Rena Hasanova).

This trip was organized jointly by Khazar University and Paris Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi and supported by the Embassy of Azerbaijan Republic in France.
