On October 10, 2017, a training on Establishment of Joint Degree Programs within the framework of Technical Assistance Mission started at Khazar University. Professor Mahammad Nuriyev, the Vice President of Khazar University for Academic Affairs, opened the training session and wished success to the participants.
Annica Sundback - Lindors, a program manager of National Education Agency of Finland, Yashar Omarov, senior adviser, Department of Science, Higher and Secondary Education of the Ministry of Education and some representatives of the other universities of Azerbaijan as well as Khazar university staff participated in the event.
Within the two days of a training, Annica Sundback-Lindros, an expert on the joint degree programs and a program manager of National Education Agency of Finland will give information about joint-degree programs, the opportunities they generate, successful examples from the region and Europe, practical details of the development process, and advise how to create such programs.
On October 11, Anar Nagiyev, an expert of the Department of Accreditation and Nostrification of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan will join the training session.
Certificates will be issued to the participants at the end of the training.
