Dr. Bahman Amani was appointed to the position of a chair to the English Language and Literature Department. He received his BA degree from Tabriz University, majoring in English Literature. He continued his postgraduate studies in India and received Master’s and PhD degrees in English Literature from Pune University.

In his past 30 years career, Dr Amani has the positions of Head of Department, Pro-rector of Education and Rector of State University in his record. He has published/presented many articles and supervised a considerable number of postgraduate theses.

At present, he is the head of English language and Literature Department at Khazar University.
